Whether you are a new or seasoned creator, listen now to learn this fresh approach to turning the chakras upside down to create your masterpiece.

Have you struggled with pain, be it physical, emotional, or mental? Have you lived with what feels like maybe more than your fair share of pain? There's a famous quote. “Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.” But, if suffering is indeed optional, how do we reduce it? Through my 18 month journey of recovery after my car accident, I learned first hand that by understanding more about pain and how we react to it, we can get ourselves feeling better, potentially heal what is hurting us, and even find that our lives are better than before.
That's what I’m talking about on today's Thinking Vitamins Podcast with Dr. Peter DeShane. He is a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Neurotherapist, and Chiropractor who’s been in practice for twenty-seven years. He's also someone I see as my saviour because he is the doctor who was able to get me on the road to recovery after my car accident. A meaningful accomplishment because I was in the care of other doctors for a year before I found him and wasn’t making much progress.
On this episode, you'll learn about:
- the connection between physical and emotional pain
- a technique called NET, which will rid you of lifelong limiting beliefs in a matter of minutes
- techniques to coach yourself and your loved ones to release pain faster
The end of the episode is a gift (an enlightened idea) for any parents or people dealing with young children who are acting out. Learning how to release pain is much needed skill to bring about abundance in our lives and the lives of our loved ones.

Do you ask yourself big questions like: Who am I? What is this world that I live in? What is my purpose in this world? These are important questions and answering them has everything to do with how abundant you will feel in your life. To feel abundant, is to feel as though you have as much of everything as you could possibly imagine. It is hard to imagine feeling abundant without having a strong sense of who you are and why you are here.
By answering life’s three big questions, you embark on the supreme adventure (the journey to your real Self), and cultivate a life filled with abundance and grace. My guest, Dr. Elangovan, a professor at the Gustovson School of Business and the recipient of numerous awards and honours, has dedicated his life to studying what he calls "the supreme adventure...the journey to our real Selves."
In this episode, you will learn a technique for discovering your purpose and calling, how the mind-body connection works, and a surprising way to tap into your inner wisdom. Dr. Elangovan is a world class teacher and in this episode he elegantly teaches us how to integrate the physical, emotional, and philosophical aspects of ourselves so we can cultivate lives filled with grace.
This is a life affirming conversation that I have already listened to more than once and plan to listen to many more times.
Would you like to join me on the supreme adventure?

The more you give, the more you get. It's an equation for abundance. The ultimate reason we seek abundance is to be fulfilled, and fulfillment is the return on our investment of giving. Whether you give a smile or a check, you will get something back.

In our discussion of his new book, Performance Driven Giving, he shares how giving has made his business grow in the most unexpected ways.

➡ How giving uplifts your life and those around you
➡ How giving can differentiate your business from your competition

You have toxins in your home. We all do...but what does that mean for you? There are no "nutritional labels" for household goods and you practically need a chemistry degree to know what's in things. As well, exposure to toxins can impact your sleep, focus, productivity and it may cause headaches, breathing issues, even weight gain.
I've been increasing my clean living over the years, but in this episode I've learned how to really reduce chemical exposure inside my home, thanks to my guest Loni Brown, a healthy home expert. From small quick wins you can implement now, to clear explanations of what's really happening in most homes, this episode is packed with insights.
Some of the eco-friendly tips you'll learn are:
- What is greenwashing and how can you know when it's happening?
- Easy, free steps you can take to begin the detoxification process
- The truth about fragrances and what the corporations are hiding
Enjoy the show!

When it comes to creativity, how often have you heard "That's not a real job"? So many of my clients have come to me, later in life, to explore their real passion because they were once told or felt the societal pressure, that the creative endeavour they loved so much, was not a suitable career. My guest on this weeks episode was no different. Sylvia Humble was a trained and award winning singer who shelved her passion to take a sensible government job. After recovering from a cancer diagnosis she began questioning if there was more to life, which led her back to singing.
Not only did she get back to her passion, she created a unique business with her creative gifts. If you've been supressing your own creativity in this episode you'll learn:
- What it can mean to get back in touch with your creativity
- How out-of-the-box thinking can take you in surprising directions
- How your subconscious can help you re-ignite your passion
Enjoy the show!
